Out Of State Bench Warrant
I just got a letter from PA that I was to appear in court on July 30th.
It had my wrong address and the weekend I got it was the Week I also started college. What can I do I had a court appointed attorney? If I go back up there can the judge lift the warrant? What will happen if I do? I was advised that "not to turn my self in, and to go straight to the lawyers office". WE would go to the judge and talk to him. I am just worried if I go up there what really will happen. I have no record up there and have been there to court twice but they did write the wrong address on the letter this time. Send that wrong address info to the court, and perhaps a copy of the letter and they normally need to re-set the hearing. And lift the warrant.
It does not matter how you eventually got a copy. |
