Default assisting a criminal

A so called friend of my wife was on house arrest and removed the band from her ankle, now she wants to hide out in my home. How much trouble can I get into if she stays in my home.

A lot! Do not do it or you will be committing a crime.

It could make you an accomplice and possibly guilty of harboring as well!
