Question can i sue to get back criminal defense fee 's if found not guilty

i have been charged with d.u.i. related vehicular homicide !! if and when the homicide charge is thrown out can i sue and whom do i sue for defense fees ,pain and suffering , loss of wages !!

i forgot to add that this case is 2 1/2 years old and was thrown out by the judge at county level ! the D.A. has appealed and is now at state level!! with no statuet of limitations on such a case , it is causing problem after problem !!


PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately you cannot sue for a court proceeding that was reasonably initiated. But you can ask the judge to rule that it is not speedy and is frivolous and ask him to dismiss it. Get your lawyer active on that issue--you will not want to do that yourself.
