Restraining Orders

Restraining Orders
If someone takes out a restraining order against you, would you have to be legally notified of such an order? If not, how would you know that you were not to contact this person - and how could the court find you in violation of the order if you were not notified in the first place?

They do have to notify you if anybody knows where you are.
