I wish to inform you that for second offense, penalty depends upon amount of marijuana. For less than 40 grams, penalty is minimum one day and a fine of not less than $500. For greater than 40 grams, penalty is a 2 to 6 months and a fine. Washington is a 'mandatory minimum' state.
