Very wrong. In the legal field, "actor" refers to a person or litigant. You need a law degree if you are going to attempt to dispense legal advise; advising someone of erroneous information is damaging.

i'm sorry but you are incorrect. I sought out the advice of a criminal defense attorney regaring this matter. He told me verbatim, that If she posed willingly and with consent, the pictures were mine and I could do with them whatever I wanted to. She could sue me civially, however she would have to prove she suffered some kind of loss. This is a law that may vary from state to state however I know flat out I was told it is not criminal....

anyone here that claims it is against the law is incorrect. Yes, you can sue your ex, the law basically lets you sue anyone for any reason, bt that doesn't mean you'll win. The FACT is that if he took the picture and you knew he was taking the picture then they are his and he has a legal right to do with them what he wants. You could sue claiming harassment or undue enritchment. Does anyone remember the paris hilton video, or any number of other videos of famous people released without their consent? Does anyone remember the number of times the producers of girls gone wild videos have been sued? what you need to do is speak to a lawyer, but i'm afraid they will tell you what I just did. Yes you can sue, but you'll probably not win.

[QUOTE=Unregistered;151745]Wrong. A person can. They might be sued by the person in the pictures, but they can post them. They don't need permission. Pictures are the property of the person(s) who took them.

Okay I'm replying to this because someone posted a nude picture of me on a site on Facebook no they didn't have permission no they shouldn't have done it. People can be charged as pedifiles for doin this. I'm only 17. I'm a senior in high-school so for you to say people can do whatever they want with your nude pictures is completely wrong .

You are showing the same lack of maturity you did by posing for the picture, by using words, whose meaning you do not understand.

It does not matter if she posed in a willful manner or not...the law does not punish female
underage minors for this type of stuff, which I think they should; however, I can not say for sure
if it was illegal for the person to take the picture, but I can tell you for sure, publishing pictures
of nude female minors is very illegal, that person could be charged with a crime, and or even
be labeled a sex offender; Post content on the net is the right of free speech, but posting
nude photos of minors online in any format is a big no, no...
