What sort of punishment would prostitutes receive when caught? Would they go to jail? If so, how many years are they sentenced?

Most Prostitutes walking the streets of the UK have a hard drug problem. It also depends on the area. The police in the city's around the UK are to busy to worry about a lady of the night.
