Search Warrant Rules!!!

During a search warrant for things that are specified in the search warrant, is it legal to bring in the 'victims' to help execute the search warrant and take multiple items that were never even mentioned in the search warrant? They took common things such as vases, kitchen mixing bowls, rubber rain boots, etc..... All items that were taken did in fact belong to me and are very common items availabe at any Wal-Mart or Target. They were not items that have serial numbers or were not marked in any way to distinguish proper ownership as I do not have receipts anymore unfortunately. The items that were taken that were not on the search warrant were listed on a separate piece of paper written by the officer as he took them. Is this all legal?
