HELP! I have a warrent from 3 years ago for shoplifting in mervyns...

PLEASE HELP ME!

I was caught shoplifting in a Mervyns in California, in 2006. I never went to court because I was scared to death. I have a warrant for my arrest. I have lived with this for 3 years now. I want to take care of this burden of mine.

My question is: Since Mervyns is now out of business... will I have a chance of winning in court if I plead not quilty?

I think that Kohls bought out mervyns, but I wonder if they would have the tapes and/or paperwork from that long ago.

Please help me! Im desperate!

The prosecutor still has the file and most likely the names of the persons that were involved. But it may make it a bit more complicated.

...make sure you get legal counsel and let them arrange the resolution -- You should not do this yourself at this point.
