They sure can if actual fraud is proven. Look what is happening to other fund managers that misappropriated funds.

"Recently, a former fund manager, Lee Chong Min, and his boutique fund management firm, CMIA Capital Partners, were sued by CMIA China Fund II over an investment in the insolvent steel coil-maker FerroChina."
I found this at another newspaper. |

If I had information about certain people at US institutions that had wrongdoing with this situation how would I even report that? I don't think the institutions even know what happened?

You could I suppose inform the FBI and Singapore authorities.
Or you could have your lawyer relay any information to all appropriate parties. |

I also saw minutes from some actions on another site that clearly state fraud is being charged.

Its amazing. Everyone here is posting as unregistered guest - including myself on this case. And people are making value statements about the parties involved.
Will this worldlawdirect be also responsible for carrying tales, if defamation is proven? I am surprised that this website was listed as the second search result - after CMIA. It takes money to get up in the front of Google search you know? |

You can read the court documents. They are what they are. I was at the court and read them word for word. And the newspaper covered it as well if you did not see that.

How can Chong Min be a wanted man. Bull****. The authorities are not even looking at the case.
Its just you people trying to find fault with him or anyone that is linked to him to take the blame for your losses. We all lost in the recent crash. Get on with your life and move on. Chong Min is a very wealthy guy in Singapore. So u all bully him and try to impeach him for something that is : 1) Not proven 2) Not even investigated by CAD 3)Losses from speculation by your own greed. Forget the whole thing and MOVE ON |
