Failure to appear for a felony theft charge in California
what is the minimum sentence USUALLY imposed by an LA county judge for a 7 yr old failure to appear for a charge of theft from my friends place of business. The amount was a few thousand but it was a very shaky case. He is the one that reported it missing but stopped going to court for it.

Short jail and a bond-- of if no bond can be paid you often will not get out till trial.
