Backround Check Issues
Hello all,
When I was 23 (I'm 30 now) I got arrested for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I was never convicted but I think I might have been charged. The guilty person took the blame and the Judge begrudgingly let me go and dismissed the charges. Now fast forward 3 years and I get a job at a school district working in the IT department. I need to get finger printed and have a background check preformed. One of the question on the form was "Have you ever been CONVICTED for a crime? |

You may call the police dept and DA that were involved to check the status or WLD could do so. It is likely you have no conviction. But if you failed to appear etc. you could have been convicted and a warrant issued--we assume that did not happen here.
