bail bond reinstated
I missed my court date due to uncontrolable circumstances ( highway closed due to accident ). The next day I spoke with my attorney on what to do. I was told to go to the bail bonds and get a Resumption Of Liability On Bail Bond Order. I went to the bail bonds and was told they do not do those on Fridays. So the following Monday I went to the bail bond and got the Resumption letter, from there I went to a court date that I had in a different county, while waiting to see the judge I was arrested for a warrant for the court date I missed. When I am taken to that county and get to see the judge is it possible that he will reinstated my bond? I have the resumption letter. I am in California.

Possible yes but did anybody call the court the date of the hearing?
If it was really something beyond your control the courts will work with you normally, but you cannot call in days later. |
