False claim on my land

My brother in law purchased a land measuring 120 sq yds and gave me possession to look after it. Land mafia got illegal possession of my land twice. I expelled them out from my land with the help of police.After one year land mafia made forged papers of my land and sold the land to some person, that person got lease and filed a criminal petition against me claiming that I have illegally got possession of his land.Which is not true.I am now facing the case.In the year 2007 I got power of attorney from my brother in law and in Jan 2008 I purchased the land from him by signing a sale agreement.
Due to ....... judicial system I don't expect any favourable decision from the people who have power to decide the case.
Now my question is what to do now as my attorney is seriously sick and unable to plead me.
