Confused Online gambling versus GA gambling law

Please help me understand the following GA gambling law:

13-8-3.

(a) Gambling contracts are void; and all evidences of debt, except negotiable instruments in the hands of holders in due course or encumbrances or liens on property, executed upon a gambling consideration, are void in the hands of any person.

(b) Money paid or property delivered upon a gambling consideration may be recovered from the winner by the loser by institution of an action for the same within six months after the loss and, after the expiration of that time, by institution of an action by any person, at any time within four years, for the joint use of himself and the educational fund of the county

Let me start off with I'm now in treatment about my gambling addiction!
Here is my problem. Over the past 8 months I have spend over $25,000 online gambling. I played slots at an online casino. I'm currently in the process of loosing my house, thankfully I still have my job. I used my Visa Debit card to gamble and I need to understand the above law. I know this is not the right thing to do but I don't know any other way but to see if I can dispute the charges and try to recover some of my looses. Please advice. Thanks for your help.
