I was ticketed for shoplifting in a local grocery store in CA. At the time, the policeman gave me a ticket for the charge, told me to get booked(have mugshots taken and the such) at a later time, and then let home. My lawyer told me to wait in terms of getting booked and was eventually able to get the charge dismissed.
My question is if an arrest is on my record if I never went in to be booked and my charge is now dismissed. Thanks! |
