Penalties for non-payment of restitution
If a person is convicted of obtaining government assistance fraudulently and is ordered on probation and to pay restitution for money received, what would the likely penalty be if the person failed to pay the ordered restitution?

Re: Penalties for non-payment of restitution
Perhaps a warning the first time but after that it is often a violation of probation and back to jail. Very good reasons or extreme circumstances can sometimes justify non-payment
|
