my sister and her boyfriend had a fight at new year and my sister says he attackt her and he got lifted and held for 3 days but gt released saying there was not enough evidence.but they took a statment off of her boyfriend and the other 2 people who were in the house at the time and they said it was my sister who attaked him and as he had cuts, scratches and a bite mark. she got arrested. they all recieved the court dates today but none of them want to go to court as they are all friends. is there anything they can do to get it flung out of court?

Its too late for that there is already a court date! If there are requested in court and fail to show you they can be charged with crimes. Have them ask the DA if they can give a statement instead to DA.

THEY GAVE STATMENTS TO THE POLICE, CAN THEY JUST NOT RETRACT THERE STATMENTS OR WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WITNESSES DNT SHOW UP ON THE DATE? AM IN SCOTLAND NOT THE US
