georgia my friend embezled a lot of money from his boss. his family gave the boss some money to attempt to repay him and prevent prosecution, but the amount of money my friend stole kept rising. the boss initially decided to prosecute, then decided not to explaining that since he took money from the family, he could not prosecute in criminal court. the boss wants to repay the money asap. my question is: if the family accepts the money can the boss then prosecute?
