Jail Time, No Bond

Are there any laws that govern how long someone can be held in jail, with no bond, if they've already been sentenced? In this case, person was sentenced to Resedential Rehab. No one is doing anything, person is just sitting there, 3 months now. What gives?

Something is wrong--that should not be happening.

Have a lawyer intervene.

You would be surprised how often people just get off track and this happens.

Or a lazy or vindictive PO could be involved--many possible reasons.

Email world law or call a local lawyer if need be and have the lawyers resolve.

We did / do have a lawyer - he says he will go talk to the person, doesn't show. He seems to busy with other cases, now that person has been sentenced. I would hire another lawyer, but they wouldn't be familiar w/ the case. Person is afraid for me to take it further - in fear of ticking off the judge. I've considered contacting a State Senator to intervene.
