Okay. I know a female, let's say "Jane Doe" has done the following: (in North Carolina)
Committed Food Stamp Fraud in County A-- they're evidentaly just going to sieze her taxes-- not take her to court. Committed WIC Fraud in County A. They don't do anything typically except send a letter & try to get the $$ back that way. MAY have committed worker's compensation fraud. Is DEFINITELY trying to get more money and extension on time for a nearly 2 year old injury that she works on fine. Does heavy yardwork, building work--the whole nine yards. Was in a recent flood in our town, County B, but only got minor damage. Tried claiming 4 times what insurance agreed to pay her. BUT has gotten a local church to give her a LOT of stuff (that she already had and was able to salvage). Yes we know for a fact her losses were minimal but she's really milked it from the church. (ie, she saved her TV's but told the church she had none. Saved her working uniforms but asked the church to buy her more.-- you get the picture). Was found guilty of Criminal Contempt in another county, County C, for willful failure to pay her child support. Okay-- how much "little" fraud all around is too much and how much "little" cons can go on before something can be done legally? There's other "lies" around too but no oher fraud |
