Nevada is technically a 1 party consent state for recording conversations. However, the supreme court gave a ruling that interpreted it as needing all parties consent. I have conversations that are recorded with my ex wife who I am now in a custoday lawsuit with. These conversations proove my case. She lives in Kentucky and I recorded them here in Nevada. Can I use them in court in Kentucky? Can I get in trouble for them?

We normally recommend you check with your state attorney general's office or the local police dept. before using or taping--See also "taping phone calls" WORLDLawDirect - Taping phone calls --
