Before Final Journal Entry...
When a court ruling is made intially, with instructions for a later journal entry to be made, my understanding is that until that journal entry is made, an appeal can't be filed.
My question is, can the opposing party take any action based on the initial ruling before the final journal entry is filed? |

There can be a grey area there so have your lawyer check what is the actual status. Normally no action starts until the final order is in place.
