Angry we had a break in

we assume it was this family member because they asked for something and were told they were not entitled to it. This person refused to answer to the police when questioned about this break in. Then she told the police a story that she had sent someone else there to remove the items and the police questioned that person and they didnt do it because they are disabled and was in the hospital at the time have foot surgury. The police didnt charge her with mischief or anything. Now she filed a law suit questioning why there was no insurance claim for those items. The insurance company says often people will steal from an estate to enhance the financial position of the estate and insurance wont pay for those items. Can this person be charged for making false statements to the police or mischief or something. She denys ever being at the estate since that person passed away. Then she filed under an assumed name for administrator stating she searched the home for testate and didnt find any. When she filed she told the court there was no administrator of the estate and her husband was dead so no one was taking care of it when there was an administrator for five months already. Then this person files a law suit against the first administrator stating she didnt like how they took care of the estate and why certain things hadnt been turned over to her but had been reported missing, stolen. Go figure. How does a person get away with setting this up so perfect and suing for thirty grand she states she wants for damages. This person filed to have the real administrator removed so she could take over the money and property and be litagation gaurdian for the children involved. is that conflict of interest? What can we do about all the lies this women has told the courts. Every one is just shaking their heads she got away with this stuff. frustrated and sued. What can we do.

Default Re: we had a break in

If you can prove she made any false statement tot he authorities and did so purposely, she can be charged with a crime--you may file the first charges.

Get a lawyer to help you move it along if you have to.
