How do I go about receiving a full reimbursement from a vacation home
rental. We did not stay because it was a filthy home...not what I saw online. One owner agreed to reimburse the entire $1650 the next day, through a credit card transfer, while her partner wanted to give me only half, a week later. I had to use all of my extra money to find more accomodations for my family and I. We took food to cook, that had to be thrown away because we had nowhere to store it. Do I have a case, and how do I start? T top it all off, she hasn\'t given me the half she agreed to. |

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior... You may also report them to your state attorney general's office. World law attorneys could also become directly involved, though they normally do charge a fee for that.
