I was charged with assault back in 2001. I am Canadian. I reside in Ontario. Instead being convicted per say, the disposition was called admission of guilt. I was given probation. I want to get a passport. Do I need to be pardoned before I can jump a plane to somewhere? What does this mean for me as a convict? Has this thing expired? Am I deemed to be a nice boy again?
