falsely accused of assault

Kids were throwing rocks at my car...they were in out trailer park at the time that my hubsand owns. They were also hanging out at the mailboxes they had no buisness there. We have had trouble with a couple of them before. Asked them to leave, they got lippy. They left and came back, I gathered them in a group and to talk to them we exchanged words , some were loud. That was all....when I called the father of one boy, he got angry with me because I told him I was going to call the police. They called the police and said I poked three of the boys with my finger. I did no such thing. I would lose my job and my pension if I am charged. The police don't care about the rocks ...they beleive the kids because there was only my hubsand and I and there was 6 kids. I did not touch any of those kids...the police were rude...one officer told my hubsand to "****ing be quiet" so he could talk! Excate words....I am worried, they the police, did not even really want tp hear what I had to say. They did not even go and see where the kids were hanging out at.I'm really scared that I will be charged with 3 counts of assualt. I want to take a lie dectector test to prove that I am telling the truth.

You are not likely to be charged for that.

Takes pictures of the car, rocks , mailbox etc. as that indeed is a serious damage issue if you can show that. Frankly you could sue them for the damages.
