Cops never took finger prints...
My Husband was charged with 2nd degree menacing. There was no actual arrest though. He was never read his rights, he was never hand cuffed. He was not escorted to the hospital he was taken to after an alledged over dosed, and was released to me. He found out about the charges in the newspaper and turned his self in. At the time of the turn in he was not processed in anyway, no finger prints were taken, nor was he read his rights. He was given only a court date. At the trial he was still not formally processed. He plead guilty and paid a fine. The day after the fine was paid the court clerk called and asked for him to surrender his finger prints, at which time he informed him that he would not without a court order. The Police department called almost a week later and stated they would charge him with obstruction of justice. Are there grounds for this charge, should he go give them his finger prints?

Good God woman, do your husband a favor and hire him a criminal lawyer. This should be an easy one.
