CA gun rights for felons
can anyone help. i was "convicted" in 95 as a juvenile assualt With firearm pc 245a . i was discharged in 2005 with a general discharge. (which i will be trying to uprade to honorable). i have not been in trouble since. i would like to start hunting.
with my upgrade to Honorable does this reinstat my gun right according to Section 1179 of the Welfare and Institutions Code. Or does the federal code over ride any reinstatment? am i banned forever from owning a weapon? does the Fed code apply also to juvinele offenses? |
