Mistakenly Pulled Over
My boyfriend was driving my vehicle when my license was suspended, for which I did not know about. The police ran my license plate and pulled my car over. Come to find out, I was not the operator of the vehicle. They even admitted to my boyfriend that they meant to be looking for me instead of him. After this, I believe, he is supposed to be let go because there is no probable cause for him being pulled over and they admitted to pulling over the wrong person. Is the police officer supposed to let this person go?
