Assaulted! what Do i Do now?

I was assaulted by a highschool kid and I am a Middle school student. The police found the kid and filed charges on him for assault and battery. But before that apperently some kid in my school and grade conspired with him to jump me before the assault happened. The kid in my grade asked him to assault me. I know this because he sent me messages on the internet threatening me before the fight saying I am going to get hurt, later him and the highschooler called my home asking me to come to the park next to my school saying that there was a big fight and I should come but I did not go, and after the assault happened he sent me another message saying that I got the beating that I deserved. My parents went to the school for support, but the school said that since it didn't happend during school they can't do anything about it. My mother a month ago warned the vice principal about the conspiracy about to happen, but the Vice-Principal just dismissed her. What we want to know is what can we do about the school? because they're not going to do anything about the kid who helped the highschooler jump me. We want to know if we can take action against the school? Because they had information about this going to happen, but they did not care about it. This was a conspiracy, we know that there were two kids involved in this, is there anything we can do about this? We already have charges against the Highschooler but we want to bring some up against the Middle Schooler who helped him. We want anyone with experience in law to help us in this dilemma, thank you.
