my son was called by his girlfriend that her ex was harrassing her on the
highway and asked that he meet her downstairs at their apartment. when she
pulled into the driveway the ex pulled in right behind her jumped out of his
car and charged my son at this point both had a hold of each other and the
ex asked to be let go and my son said the same thing they both let go and
the ex again charged at which time my son punched him 2-3 times in the face
he then left and they went to the police station to file a report the ex\'s
father is a police chief in another town and now this is being brought to
court as an assault and battery everyone including my son\'s lawyer cannot
understand how this is goig this far the ex was at their residence and
initiated the scenario what is your view?

The judge should throw that out and most likely will do so!

The case was dismissed. Finally a judge who saw through the bull.
