Confused False Confession

If a person confesses to a crime thay did not commit (for whatever reason), and the "victim" says that no crime was commited against him/her by the accused. Can the confession be used against the accused?

It can yes but both sides are going to need other evidence to show what really happened. Victims do state false things sometimes, for various reasons.
