I was wondering why my bond is so high? I searched the warrant roster in the state I have a warrant and there are so many people with very low bonds and criminal felony charges. My charge is a misdemeanor and I have no criminal record. there is several people with felony charges with lower bond amounts. who sets the bonds and how do you get it lowered and can a lawyer do that for me?

The judge sets it...it is discretionary normally and can vary tremendously.
