Default what is bonding out? for contempt?

I have found out that I have 2 charges in another state. I have a failure to appear. That is 3000. I have a contempt of court and next to it it gave me a bonding out option of 132. That is no problem to pay. Can they give me a bond out option for the failure to appear? Can I file a motion to Dismiss from another state for these charges? The original charge was a vicious dog ticket? I have no idea where these charges actually came from but that is not even the issue right now, I would just like to clear it up and not have to leave the state and then look into where they came from later. These 2 charges are misdemeanor charges. What would be the process if I were to go to that state and get arrested?

They would arrest you, most likely let you out on bond, and then you would have to appear for a court date to address this issue.

thank-you, do you know whether they can lower the bond from my state if I hire an attorney. what is the procedure and how serious is a failure to appear with a contempt charge?

The lawyer can try to lower it--it is not easy.

Failure to show will usually result in an arrest warrant and the judge will want to have a good explanation or you should expect some modest punishment.

modest punishment? Should I even retain an attorney? How can an attorney benefit my case? Thank-you for any answers.
