Police: NY family kept kids in squalor (AP)
AP - Two of five family members accused of keeping seven young children in a feces-strewn, filthy home on Long Island pleaded not guilty Friday to child endangerment charges.
April Hall, Eamon Hall, Krystal Hall, Bernadette Hall, and their father, Richard Hall, pleaded not guilty to child endangerment charges Friday. Richard Hall was ordered held on $5,000 bail; bail was set at $2,500 for the others. The judge also ordered them not to go near the children. Attorneys for April Hall and Eamon Hall didn't comment. An attorney for Richard Hall said his client did not have a supervisory role in raising the children. More... |
