Default Can I use my credit cards prior to filing for Bankruptcy?

I live in the U.S.A. Can I still use my credit cards if I am considering bankruptcy? And can I get credit cards after bankruptcy? Can all debts be discharged in bankruptcy?

All charges in the last 3 months or sometimes up to a year can be kept out fo the bankruptcy. You cannot charge up the card and file. The court will not allow it.

It is incredibly stupid and highly unethical to continue to use credit cards that you intend to list in your bankruptcy file. It may even be considered fraud and theft. It is unwise to do so.

With this economy, it is highly unlikely you will be able to obtain a credit card unless it's a security issued card that uses your own money, for at least 10 years. Bankruptcy should be considered a last resort.
