overs seas debt
hi my partner and me have been living together for two years and have bought a house together ,now i find out she owes money overs seas from before we were together .im worried that they will take our house or can they touch anything of ours here in different country?

They can legally yes...but usually they will not do so due to costs and complexity of enforcing that internationally.

They have to go through two court systems.
In the other country and in USA. Could cost them a lot. Plus it would be more work for them. |
