credit card error in my favor
I live in NJ and recently made a credit card payment, about one month ago. I paid my balance in full and have a statement from my cc company that my balance is $0 and payment has been made. I have made payments before from this checking account to same cc and never had any errors. My should I do legally? I have been told that there is a time limit where if not corrected I can keep the money. Thankyou.

They can discover the error and normally will at some point, and then you are liable to pay it back. Even now you are liable though they may not know about the error.
