Bank Account: Can a creditor freeze or garnish a bank account?
Can a creditor freeze or garnish a bank account that I have direct deposit into if the account is not in my name? ( I am the person with credit issues not the person the account is in the name of)

It is much more difficult but yes they can if they can prove it is your money.
