My bank took my money...

I live in CA, my husband works in NM, he was paid $9,000.00 dlls. for his services with false money orders. He deposited them in our joint wells fargo checking account, I also have my personal checking account and another joint account with my elderly parents all accounts at the same banking branch.
When we found out the money orders were fake, the bank took all we had in the joint checking, everything I had in my personal account and everything my parents had in the joint account I have with them. Over $7,500.00 dlls.

The bank has treated us as if we were criminals, my parents are elderly people who can not affort to pay their rent or groseries and I don't know what to do...
Can someone out there help me? Please... I am desperate.
