i've a question concerning the bank responsibility in changing previous car owner's name to my name on car title.

2 months ago, i bought a 2nd hand car from a car dealer. i had submitted all the necessary documents (i.e salary slip, bank book etc) to the dealer for them to liaise with the banker to process my car loan application.

2 weeks after, my loan application approved and i got the car n now i'm preparing paying the 2nd installment.

However, recently i noticed that, even a 1st installment had been made, the banker have yet register my name (to replace the previous car owner's name) on the car title.

It left me with lots of risk. imagine if something happen to that car (being stolen or whatsoever), i couldnt claim a single cent for that lost.

so, i'm seeking your advice if i could make any legal action on that bank and whether my action is right or not?

You could yes but call the dealer and the bank president and complain and frankly they will likely resolve ASAP.
