Legal payment date for credit card

Default Legal payment date for credit card

I mailed my payment the day before the due date on credit card statement.Obviously it was not in their hands on due date. Does post mark on letter constitute pay date. <dawdidit@bellsouth.net>

Not with most cards unfortunately, it is the receipt date.
