Credit Card Charges for Cancelled Merchandise

I signed up online for a monthly craft (for my kids) and cancelled it 3 months later. Their policy for cancellation is written notice. I wrote the letter...that was a year ago. Since then I have tried emailing, calling, and writing again. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and have been on the phone every month with my credit card company disputing the charges. I still receive the monthly crafts and send them back as refused delivery. I still receive the monthly bills and call and dispute them every month. My credit card company tells me I cannot block a merchant from charging on my card. They also tell me I cannot cancel my credit card because of the disputes and the established monthly charges. I don't know how to be done with this dishonest merchant. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

You can cancel the card as lost and have a new one issued if need be.

You can also sue these crafts folks in small claims for the costs/ hassle of all of this. Tell them you will do so.
