Default The Supreme Court Decline to Hear Some 2,000 Cases

The Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear appeals concerning the Pledge of Allegiance, the Confederate flag and license plates bearing the words “Choose Life.”

In those and some 2,000 other cases that accumulated during the court’s summer break, the court let stand rulings from lower courts without comment.

Cases involved:
  • Frazier v. Smith, No. 08-1351
  • Barr v. Lafon, No. 08-1325
  • Choose Life Illinois v. White, No. 08-1283
  • Greenwell v. Parsley, No. 08-1328
  • Bowen v. Oregon, No. 08-1117
  • Kiyemba v. Obama, No. 08-1234
