my friend accepted a plea bargain sentence for murder,and he got 15yrs of which 7.5yrs was suspended. can he now appeal the sentence with correctional supervision. coz i am sure he can qualify for correctional supervision and he is a first time offender. plus he was helpful in the community

sentence was handed down on the 6 march 2008. he was sentenced in a regional court.
