MY BROTHER NEEDS LAW ADVICE!!!!
My brother was a truck driver and he was accused of a hit and run it was thrown out of court.this happened in Virginia.After it was thrown out he then moved to Arkansas he has been there for a year and a half now and has recently learned the case was reopened after he moved and he did not know it til now. Because they failed to serve him with a letter stating it was reopened he now has a felony on his record and is wanted in the state of Virginia.Because he did not show up for court to defend himself. should they have not sent him a certified letter or sent a police officer out with a letter stating the case was reopened? can he fight this? PLEASE HELP!!!!
