Default SSDI case so unfair. SCARED

Very long so will shorten to the best I can. I've worked 22 yrs. in same factory until getting sick w/my chronic major depression, anxiety generalized, chronic stutter, fibromyalgia, spinal stenosis, disk degen, osteo.. I take many meds which have sideffects. I know as do my 2 specialist's, Drs. that I can not work and haven't since I filed in 99' after having ECT's. Won benefits 2003 but 2004 lost in a appeals remand. Federal judge sent back to SSA for new decision but no help from lawyer. He let mistakes go wo/ repair such as 1)I had a problem w/valium,2) my only office visit concern was lack of sex drive and many more. These all had to have impacted appeals decision and opinion of me. They were simply not true. So much more like lack of getting Drs. notes that I'd asked him to call for on several occassions, resulting in part of my denial reason,"patient dropped out of treatment". I have never had a RFC done by my own Dr.. Only a DDS who aim for denials. Never keeps me informs. Couldn't hold his eyes open at last hearing and didn't hear several notations by the court staff that others heard. I have my last and FINAL hearing 5/19/08. My case is so long, complicated and messed up, I fear I will lose my only future living and I can't go on wo/that. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Slamina (IA)

I have a SSDI lawyer. It's that I have a tough judge. I was believing all this time that I had a good chance at winning my benefits since the federal judge at my civil review remanded my case back to the SSA for review and benefits. But today I found out differently. Rarely is a person given benefits after a civil court remand. I am sick. I am just sick. That's all I can say

If you are not comfortable with the lawyer you might seek a change or seek a second opinion; otherwise push them to do all they can...

Thanks for all your suggestions. Although, I have tried talking to other lawyers even out of state but they refuse to talk to me or give me (any) feedback, advice, opinions, etc. since I have a lawyer hired. It is quite late into the game to change lawyers since my case is one that is (unusually long and complicated with many errors to fix) to our local SSA office asst. mngr.., civil court assistant to judge, along with many other people. A person at the office is taking a special interest in my case due to it's unfairness. He is one who confirmed for me a suspicion I've had that the Drs. who work for and do the RFC exams for the state do infact, faciliate a denial. Now I understand why the exams were so simple, quick and of little relation to my illnesses. I am going to do whatever I can to prove my assigned judge for both hearings is, in fact a biased man. I am more than qualified for benefits and I have paid into SSA over my 36 years of employment. Believe me, I would give my left arm to beable to feel good again and have the ability to commit myself to work.
