Confused Reproducing Copyrighted Characters (e.g. Disney)

I am a children's muralist, and many clients ask for character-themed murals (e.g. Disney characters, movies, cartoons, etc). Can I legally do this? Do I have to get permission first, and if so, how?

Default Re: Reproducing Copyrighted Characters (e.g. Disney)

You normally technically would yes if you are using the characters and are making profits with them.
