(a) In a trademark sense, can an old religious non-profit corporation or church still be considered as having "continued business use" of its registration rights, name or mark, if it was inactive for a few years (due to the fact that the board of trustees died and the church members left the church and went elsewhere to worship) but its legal status was always intact since it never dissolved? (b) What really is meant by "continued business use"? (c) Is it legal or illegal for the corporation to be later revived by others who wanted to use its name or mark since the corporation was never dissolved?

You can certainly argue that yes.
Is somebody disputing the mark now? If not just continue the use and keep it going... |
